Welcome to the Malaysia Smart Cities Conference 2.0 (MSCC 2.0)

As cities continue to evolve, Malaysia stands at an important point in shaping its urban future. MSCC 2027 moves to Kuching, Sarawak for the first time, bringing together urban planners, policymakers, technology leaders, developers and sustainability experts to explore practical solutions for the cities of tomorrow.

Set in Borneo, Kuching provides a unique backdrop to discuss how technology, sustainability and urban development can progress while preserving nature, culture and communities. This reflects the direction of Sarawak's Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030, which focuses on economic prosperity, social inclusivity and environmental sustainability.

Under the theme “Wawasan 2050: Where Silicon Meets the Rainforest,” MSCC 2027 explores how technology can create cities that are more liveable, resilient, inclusive and sustainable.

From Kuching to the wider region, MSCC 2027 is a platform to connect people, ideas and technology as we work towards a smarter and more sustainable urban future for Malaysia.
